Chikungunya Vaccination

Chikungunya is a mosquito-borne viral infection that causes fever and severe joint pain, which can persist for months. It is found across parts of Africa, Asia, the Americas and the Indian Ocean.

The vaccine is newer than most travel vaccines and has age and health restrictions, so suitability is assessed individually rather than being offered routinely.
