Women’s Health Profile

A broad blood screen covering general health and hormones in one appointment. Blood is taken here at the pharmacy, analysed by an accredited laboratory, and the results are explained to you by our team.

Women’s Health Profile

The Women’s Health Profile is a wide-ranging blood screen covering the markers most useful for a general picture of health, alongside the hormones that affect energy, mood, periods and fertility.

It typically includes a full blood count, kidney and liver function, cholesterol, thyroid function, iron studies and key female hormones. Our pharmacist will confirm exactly what is included and whether anything needs adding for your circumstances.

Blood is taken in our private consultation room and sent to an accredited laboratory. When the results arrive we go through them with you, explain what each figure means, and recommend treatment or referral where anything needs following up.
