Menopause & HRT

Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) is a treatment used to help relieve symptoms of menopause caused by falling hormone levels. Common menopause symptoms may include hot flushes, night sweats, low mood, poor sleep, vaginal dryness, reduced libido, and tiredness.

HRT works by replacing hormones such as estrogen and progesterone to help improve comfort, well-being, and quality of life. At our clinic, we offer confidential menopause consultations, personalised assessments, and tailored HRT treatment plans based on your symptoms and medical history. Our pharmacists provide ongoing support and monitoring to help ensure safe, effective, and individualised menopause care.

Frequently Asked Questions

Not always. Blood tests can help in some cases, particularly under 45, and our pharmacist will advise whether they are useful for you.
That depends on your symptoms, medical history and whether you still have a womb. We will talk through patches, gels, sprays and tablets and agree what suits you.
Yes. HRT is reviewed regularly, usually at three months after starting and then annually, to check it is working and still suitable.
Every consultation takes place behind a closed door in our private consultation room. Nothing is discussed at the counter.
