Maloff Protect contains atovaquone and proguanil, the same combination as Malarone, and is supplied as a pharmacy medicine rather than on prescription. It is taken once a day, starting one to two days before arrival, throughout your stay and for seven days afterwards.
Our pharmacist will check your destination, medical history and any other medicines you take before supplying it. Common side effects include stomach upset, headache and mouth ulcers. Bite avoidance still matters, since no antimalarial gives complete protection.
