The menopause package measures FSH, LH, oestradiol, free T4 and TSH. Together these show where you are in the menopausal transition and rule out thyroid problems, which cause similar symptoms.

Blood tests are not always needed to diagnose menopause, particularly over 45 where symptoms are enough. They are more useful under 45, where periods have stopped early, or where the picture is unclear.

The package includes a review appointment. We will go through your results alongside your symptoms and discuss the options, including HRT, which we can prescribe here where it is appropriate.
