Dalacin Cream contains clindamycin, an antibiotic used to treat bacterial vaginosis by reducing the bacteria responsible for the infection. Insert the cream into the vagina exactly as prescribed, usually at bedtime, and complete the full course even if symptoms improve. Common side effects include vaginal irritation, thrush, abdominal discomfort and nausea. Avoid sexual intercourse or using latex condoms during treatment, and seek medical advice if symptoms persist, worsen or return.
