Daktarin Oral Gel

Daktarin Oral Gel is an antifungal treatment for oral thrush, the white patches and soreness caused by candida in the mouth or throat. The gel is held in the mouth so it works directly on the affected area.

It is usually applied four times a day after food and continued for around a week after symptoms clear, to stop it returning. If you use a steroid inhaler, rinsing your mouth afterwards helps prevent thrush coming back, and our pharmacist can check your technique. It interacts with several medicines including warfarin, so tell us everything you take.
