Whitewater Pharmacy is run by Independent Prescribing Pharmacists. That means we can assess, diagnose and prescribe in our own consultation room, for many of the things people wait weeks to see a GP about.
Your pharmacy, with a prescriber behind the counter
Most pharmacies can only hand over what someone else has prescribed. We are different. Our pharmacists are qualified Independent Prescribers, so they can examine you, reach a diagnosis and issue a prescription in the same visit.
Everything happens in a private consultation room on site. Nothing is discussed at the counter, and nothing is left to a video call with someone who has never met you.

Irfan Rafiq
Superintendent Pharmacist & Independent Prescriber
Irfan graduated from the School of Pharmacy in London in 2007. He has been prescribing in primary care for over a decade and was among the first pharmacist prescribers in the UK.
He has authored multiple national guidelines on behalf of the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) and brings extensive expertise across all areas of primary care, with a particular specialist interest in acne management, face and skin rejuvenation.
