Scheriproct Suppositories contain a corticosteroid and local anaesthetic to relieve pain, swelling, itching and inflammation caused by internal haemorrhoids. Insert one suppository exactly as prescribed, preferably after opening your bowels. Common side effects include mild irritation, burning or discomfort after insertion. Increase your fibre and fluid intake to help prevent constipation, and seek medical advice if bleeding continues, symptoms worsen or fail to improve.
